Page Freeman is a proud member of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina (Pembroke, NC) and has strong affiliations with the Cohaire (Clinton, NC) and Waccamaw Siouan (Buckhead, NC) tribes.
Page is an alum of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. During her time at UNC Charlotte, Page received many accolades and achievements, but her greatest accomplishments were reinstating the Native American Student Association. She proudly served as President of the organization and co-chaired the committee that organized their first annual powwow in over a decade.
Currently, Page is working as the Quality Assurance Specialist for the American Indian Workforce Innovations and Opportunities (WIOA) Program with the NC Commission of Indian Affairs. Starting Spring of 2024, Page is pursuing a Master of Public Administration at UNC Pembroke. Page continues to advocate and empower Native American communities.
