Kellye Hall is a Board-Certified Emergency Physician with eighteen years of medical experience. She has spent thirteen years in the Emergency Department, also working in urgent care and currently practicing at Concentra Urgent Care.
Kellye was born in Rochester, New York, but raised in Soul City, North Carolina. She realized her dream of becoming a physician by attending North Carolina A&T State University, followed by medical school at The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She is a two-time best-selling author, both books related to the HBCU Experience. Her memoir, I Am the Beat; God Sets the Pace, discusses her path to medicine.
Amidst the pandemic, impacted by her love and passion for dancing, Kellye also became the co-owner of NC Dance District with former NBA dancer, Ana Ogbueze. Kellye is happily married to Eric Hall, with whom she shares the joy of raising their two daughters, Alessandra, and Alexandria.
“I just got to the point to where I was like, I can’t stand people anymore. Like, you go into medicine wanting to help people, and then people are literally taking your ability to help them away from you.”
