Judith Brown is the founder and Executive Director of Project 70Forward. Judith was born in New York City, then moved to Baltimore, MD, and finally settled in Charlotte, NC, in 2010. Initially she worked as a corporate administrator, but her career shifted due to disabling health conditions and her role as a dedicated mother to two sons on the autism spectrum.
From her personal experiences, Judith learned firsthand how disability can be a defining moment in a person’s life. After raising her sons, Judith utilized her experiences with medical, insurance, education, and social services to establish Project 70Forward in 2018. As a passionate disability advocate, she addresses crucial issues like housing, food security, and economic mobility. Through Project 70Forward’s impactful initiatives, including the Foodie4Access program and Prescription Drug Assistance Program, Judith collaborates with advocates and organizations to enhance the lives of people with disabilities in Charlotte.
Married with an extended family of five children, Judith cherishes Charlotte’s diverse culinary and small business scene.
