Roshoundra, referred to as Sunshine, was born in the South but raised on the West coast. Life has molded her into a woman of strength and dignity. As a woman, mother, educator, innovator, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, she defines herself as someone striving to fulfill the purpose for which God created her. Describing her journey, Roshoundra says, “I have lived a Filthy, Beautiful life.”
Despite pandemic era challenges like finding housing during a cross-county move, Roshoundra emerged from COVID-19 with a newfound appreciation for life, standing on her faith. For her, perception, values, and integrity are the triad that define her philosophy. She believes that one is not measured by the challenges faced, but by how one navigates through them, and the intelligence gained in the process.
Currently, Roshoundra is the founder and CEO of Braid Boot Camp which offers private lessons, mentorship programs, and hands on training camps for youth, adults, stylists, and more.
